Reserve Your Date | Contact me and schedule to reserve and pay for your session.

Prep Guide | Once you have reserved your session, you will receive an email filled with advice on preparing your horse and what to expect!

Session | Your prep guide will leave you fully prepared for your horse' or dog’s black background portraits. Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled slot and make sure your horse is clean, dry and ready to go. Sessions last 15 minutes.

Reveal | Finally, once I have completed your gallery we will schedule a reveal appointment. This is where we will look through your gallery of portraits and make decisions on which ones you love for your home!

FAQ

  • You will have 15 minutes of artistic backdrop portraits of your horse or dog. The black backdrop will be set up on site for you to bring your horse directly to. This session does not include complimentary digitals, instead you will receive a complimentary reveal with me at a later date to pick your favorite portraits that you would like to purchase.

  • The use of off camera flash in front of a professional black backdrop will be used. Your horse will have an opportunity to check everything out as well.

    Don’t worry, this may sound scary to you but I have photographed many reactive horses without a problem. You will be guided 100% in how to pose your horse in front of the backdrop.

  • During your reveal, I will be helping create the perfect collection of artwork with your portraits!

    Whether you are looking for a premium one of a kind painted portrait on hand crafted framed canvas, metal wall art, small prints or digitals, I offer something to match any budget.

    Small Prints Start at $125 and Wall Art Ranges Between $450-$5500 depending on size, quality and finish.

  • I do require that session fees are fully paid when you reserve your spot. This is truly a portrait experience that will last for many years which is why custom payment plans are available for all artwork orders at the end of your reveal.

  • The perks of being at a show means your horse is already show ready! Please arrive with your horse completely dry and groomed. I encourage fitting your horse with their show bridle or halter. I will have a rope halter for ‘naked portraits’. These portraits will not include your horse’s feet but they will show details on legs, body and face.

  • You are certainly welcome to schedule multiple horses. I do ask that you reserve one 15 minute spot per horse. There are options for composites putting multiple horse portraits into one.

  • If you are scheduling for your furry friend, I suggest having a leash on hand. I will have a rope leash in case your dog needs encouragement.

  • Competitors, owners, trainers and direct family working with competitors at the 2023 Summer Kickoff Series have exclusive access to this special event pricing. This pricing is not available to the public as it is a private contract through the Summer Kickoff Series team.
