Photographer Background

With over 18 years inside the equestrian industry and 10 years of constantly evolving photography, I have created an entirely specialized portrait experience worthy of luxury artwork.

I am an equine and portrait photographer born and raised on a generational Dairy Farm in Western New York. Throughout my career I have been published in magazines, traveled to many states, and give back to my community as much as I can. I take pride in my ability to work with the nations leading family run businesses to provide hand crafted artwork for my client’s home.

When creating artwork, I celebrate the unique individuals like myself and take them on a journey of self-love through badass art & portraiture.

I owned my first horse at 9 years old and he was a handsome Paint named Tucker. I am incredibly grateful to have shared 15 years of my life with him and in many ways owe my life to him. Navigating the trials of self-image, relationships, abuse and redemption, Tucker was always there. He did not judge me as I made mistakes, instead he quietly listened as I shared my highs and comforted me when I hit my lows. He was the horse who taught me how to ride a buck, smile even when you don’t place in the class but most importantly he made me feel like I could do absolutely anything I set my mind to. My world came to a complete stop in January of 2021, after almost a year of battling Lymphoma, my handsome boy told me it was time.

I have built this entire Jamie Pankow Photography Experience in honor of the unconditional love I shared with my heart horse. It is my pleasure to provide equestrians with the opportunity to embrace who they are and create custom artwork with that once in a lifetime horse in mind.
